Alastair McKimm took to Instagram on the final day of New York Fashion Week to announce his departure from I-D Magazine after 10 years (including a brief hiatus before becoming editor-in-chief) with the publication. A new editor-in-chief has not been named.
“After five years as Fashion Director and five years as Editor-in-Chief, it feels like the perfect time to move on and turn the page on the next chapter,” McKimm wrote alongside a slideshow of some of his most notable I-D covers.
